A group of multifaceted disorders affecting the nervous system, characterized by diverse and often overlapping symptoms that can be challenging to diagnose and treat. These conditions typically involve multiple body systems and may have fluctuating symptoms. Examples include Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Long COVID, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and other forms of dysautonomia. These disorders often significantly impact patients’ quality of life and require interdisciplinary approaches for management and treatment.
